Happy Easter!

Katie Roberts (Lampshade Studio) was kind enough to take Ollie's pictures for me. It was a few days before Easter so we thought it would be funny to get his pictures with all of these crazy stuffed rabbits and to have him crying. We thought this would be easy because baby's like to cry, but guess what when you want baby's to cry they won't. He loved the rabbits around him but most of all he loved being naked. He was so good the whole shoot (except when he pooped on me ). I wasn't planning on any pictures of my other kids so I didn't bother prettying them up, but Katie threw them in some of the pictures and I loved how they turned out.

I don't have any picture of the real Easter festivities because I accidently deleted them from my camera >:(

Oliver Dean Visser

Here is our new baby boy born March 1, 2011. He has more hair than all of my kids put together. The kids all love him (a little too much). We are so happy he is here with our family.

Peter's 8!

Peter turned 8 on Febuary 13th. He was baptized on the 19th. When it was time for him to be baptized everything seemed to go fine, except when Peter thought he could just jump under the water himself instead of having his dad lower him under. Justin was able to stop him in time. We all left the baptismal font and went into the primary room to wait for Justin and Peter. A few minutes after we got in there Brother Schwab came in and said we needed to go back and do it again. Apparently Justin was on the wrong side of Peter. Justin and Pete were already dressed so they had to undress and put the cold wet clothes back on so they could re-do it. The second time Peter's knee came up out of the water, so the third time was the charm.

Happy Birthday Henk!

So I am trying to get caught up on all of the recent happenings. Henk turned 5 on December 29th. I can't believe he is that big. All he wanted was a giant cupcake for his birthday. He worried and worried about my sister Kris coming because she was bringing the giant cupcake pan and he thought for sure she would forget or else she wouldn't make it here. But it was all good in the end. He had lots of cousins at his party and got way too many presents. It's hard having his birthday so close to Christmas, but it doesn't seem to bother him any. Here he is with his cupcake. He still has that look that just makes you want to pinch his little cheeks and squeeze him.

Henk had a lot of help opening his presents. It's great too have cousins around.

Here's Grandpa giving him his b-day spankings.
He ended up with a lot more than 5, Grandpa's
counting was a little off.

And here is Gracey. She didn't get to open any presents.
It's got to be confusing because four days earlier she got to.

We did have a Merry Christmas this year. The kids presents consisted of legos, Harry Potter, Harry Potter Legos, and PILLOW PETS. Yes its a pillow, its a pet, its a pillow pet. That is all Gracey wanted for Christmas. On Christmas eve she was walking around my room yelling at the ceiling "Santa I want a pillow pet". This is a pretty amazing sentence for her to say, because she is still working on the whole "speaking" thing. Justin spent his few days off putting together legos. Here is Peter and Justin with Pete's new Hogwarts Express Legos.
Henk is opening his Voldemort wand. Peter got the Harry Potter one too. They love those things.

I have a good video of Gracey and her pillow pet, but it was taking too long to download. So this is the only picture I have of her on Christmas morning, she'll be hating me one day for this. We were heading to my moms house for dinner and Gracey got these slippers for Christmas and that was all she wanted to wear to grandma's house. She was very sad because I told her she had to get dressed.

Oh and the other thing we got for Christmas was this hamster. Peter used it for his science fair project. His name was max but then we changed it to Hobo Ham because he has a little car he lives in. Justin and I were trying to clean its cage, but neither one of us dared touch it, so we finally just scooped it up into its little ball. We have gotten braver and the hamster has gotten nicer.

What happened after Halloween?

We Moved!!! We finally bought a house and we are loving all of the room. we went from 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom to 4 bedrooms 2 1/2 bathrooms. We are loving it so far. We are right in front of a hill so the kids get to walk right outside to go sledding. Here is a nice video clip of the fun we get to have by our house. (pay no attention to my evil cackel)

More Halloween

How lame am I? I didn't even post halloween pictures of my kids. So 3 months later, here you go!
Gracey was a witch (?)
Not sure what the wings were, but aren't they cute?
Henk wouldn't let me color his hair this time.
And I was having a tough time with the make up.

Peter was a werewolf. The hood was courtesy of my mom.
