Another fun Halloween has came and gone. I love too see the kids running around in there costumes. Peter always insists on being something scary, so this year we attempted a zombie. Henk wanted to be a tiger and we lucked out finding this costume at old navy along with gracey's. I just want to squeeze them in their little costumes they are so cute.
Justin and I attended a halloween party last week and dressed as Sonny and Cher. It was a blast.

Well, since we have had a couple of snow storms and we rarely get above 50 degrees, I think it is safe to say that summer is over. I think our family is going to miss the bike rides most of all. My boys love going to the BMX track to ride bikes. Peter has been learning how to jump his bike this summer and is getting quite good at it. Justin loves to ride with the boys when he gets the chance. Henk is very brave for a 3 year old. He can ride up and down most of the hills. One day when we were on our way to the track he told me he popped a wheelie on his bike. Sure enough he did, he can lift his front tire about a 1/2" off the ground. He thinks he's so big.
Way back in August school started again for Peter. He is in the first grade this year and is doing quite well. His competitive side is coming out. One day he came home from school to tell me a girl in his class already received her reading award. So he went to school early the next day to take a whole bunch of reading tests so he could catch up to her. I hope he stays like this.
Henk started school the beginning of September. It is his first year of pre-school. He loves it. He has been so excited all summer long for school to start. His favorite part is riding the tricycles outside. It is the cutest thing ever. (No he is not crying in the picture, the sun was too bright for him.)
So now for two and a half hours two times a week it is just Gracey and me. I think she likes the time away from her brothers.

The time for the Jr. Rodeo has arrived once again.
Peter was too big to ride a sheep this year and technically he was to young to ride a cow (for some reason they don't have a class for six year olds) but he gave the cow a try anyway. Henk was going to try the sheep this year but he woke up crying this morning that he didn't want to ride the sheep. It's too bad because he missed out on his $2 reward.

Yesterday was Gracey's first Birthday. She looked thrilled about the whole event on our way to Grandma Koral's house.
I was excited about the cupcakes I made. It took me 3 hours to make the butterflies for them but I think it was worth it, especially since Justin said they were the prettiest thing I have made in the 10 years we've been married. (It's true, I'm not very crafty.)
Gracey doesn't take too kindly to large crowds, but after the sugar rush from the cupcake sunk in, she was very excited at her birthday.

My Gracey is almost a year old. I am not too happy about that.
She is running now, she went from zombie walker to full on runner. She is getting teeth way faster than my boys. She has her two bottom teeth and the top two Spongebob teeth are coming in super fast.

Thanks to Bridgett and Josh Fawson we had a very enjoyable time. Josh's parents were kind enough to let our family and the veigels stay at their house, they are brave people.
We hiked around the mountains of St. George and we went swimming one night. On our way home on Monday we stopped and visited Zions park. It was nice weather it was in the 60's which was great since it was 5 below zero when we left Star Valley.

During Christmas my sister Erin was in town and was kind enough to put her photography skills to use and take pictures of my kids. She did an excellent job even though she had to work with my rotten kids. One day she wanted to take pictures of Peter snowboarding. This was quite difficult considering it was 10 below zero. She rolled around in the snow and froze to death while I stayed nice and cozy in the car entertaining babies. It sucks to be her.
Thanks for everything Erin.
